Welcome to Mentio! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our app and services. By accessing or using Mentio, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Mentio, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, including our Privacy Policy.

Mentio is intended for users of all ages. If you are under the age of 13, you may use Mentio only with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian, and we may require parental consent where applicable. 

  1. Services Provided

Mentio is an app that helps you capture and manage short audio clips and related notes on your device (for example, saving moments, reminders, or references).

  1. Privacy and Data Use

Your use of Mentio is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect (if any), how it is used, and your choices.

  1. User Responsibilities

When using Mentio, you agree to: • Use the App Lawfully: Do not use Mentio for illegal activities or to infringe on the rights of others. • Respect Others’ Privacy: Do not record or share audio without the necessary rights and permissions, and comply with applicable consent/recording laws. • Maintain Your Device Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of access to your device and account (if any).

  1. Purchases, Pricing, and Changes

Mentio is currently offered as a one-time purchase of $0.99 (plus any applicable taxes and fees charged by the platform).

Pricing and monetization may change in the future. For example, we may: • change the purchase price for new users, • introduce optional paid features or upgrades, • or offer subscriptions for additional services.

Any such changes would apply prospectively (e.g., to new purchases or newly introduced features), and we will provide any notices required by law and/or the app store platform. Purchases and refunds (if available) are handled through the platform where you downloaded Mentio. 

  1. Disclaimer

Mentio is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mentio and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the app.

  1. Changes to the Services and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Mentio (or any part of it) at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice in the app and/or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of Mentio after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content within Mentio, including logos, text, and graphics, is the property of Mentio or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission, except as permitted by law.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Mentio is headquartered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
