Mentio does not collect any information or data from the audio recordings that Mentio captures or the clips you create. All audio processing and clipping happen locally on your device, and saved clips never leave your phone unless you choose to share them. We do not transmit or store the contents of your recordings or clips on our servers.

2. Information We Do Collect

The only personal information we collect is what you provide for account setup and communication, such as your email address and a user identifier. In addition, we collect anonymous usage analytics—aggregate metrics about feature usage, session duration, and device characteristics—to understand how people use Mentio and to continuously improve the product. These analytics do not include your audio data or any identifiable content from your clips.

3. Advertising Data

We may collect signals that help personalize advertising, such as device identifiers and engagement patterns. This advertising data is used to target ads and improve ad relevance. When we share data with advertisers, we only sell ad personalization data that has been anonymized or pseudonymized; we never sell your audio recordings, clip content, or any full personal profile.
